The aim of the project is to study the main aspects of Christianity in the processes of building national identity in Bulgaria and
Czechia between the 17th and the 19th centuries. An academic conference was held with participants from the Institute for Literature, the Institute of Folklore, Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski", as well as scholars from the Czech Republic - Vl. Krzhizh, Assoc. Prof. Hana Gladkova. Due to the lack of sponsorship, the materials collected from the scientific forum were not published in a separate volume.
