The aim of the project is to reveal and present the stereotypes built over the centuries in the Bulgarian-Russian cultural relations, to trace the processes of de-construction of the stereotype as behavior and literary manifestation, to discover new and different intersections in the interactions between the two cultures. In 2013 a Bulgarian-Russian academic on the project was held in Sofia with the participation of scholars from institutes of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Sciences. A collection of materials from the conference, published in Moscow, was also prepared.
