In Quest of Mythical Texture (Studying the mechanisms of its vitality and continuity

This project is of interest from an interdisciplinary point of view and it fits in the paradigm of current research in the humanities. Its realization will enable the collaboration of two research teams whose aim is to examine a model of European cultural continuity involving the folklore and literature of European countries in both East and West by juxtaposing different types of mythical fields. The main focus will be on data from Bulgarian and Balkan regions - the land of ancient cultures which is not sufficiently studied in the European humanities.
