Hristo Hristov Todorov
Hristo Hristov Todorov was born on December 22, 1988, in Sofia. He graduated from the St. Constantine and Cyril the Philosopher National High School of Ancient Languages and Cultures (2007), Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (2011: B.A. in Classical Philology; 2013: Master’s degree in “Translation and Editing” from/into English and German; 2021: PhD in Ancient Greek Literature) and the University of Tübingen (2014: Master’s degree in Ancient Greek Language and Literature). He has worked as a freelance translator from and into English, German, and Latin (2016–2023) and as a senior assistant professor in the Department of Literary Theory at the Institute of Literature, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (2023 to present). He is a member of the editorial board of the annual journal Scripta & eScripta: the Journal of Interdisciplinary Mediaeval Studies (since 2025). In his future research, he intends to focus on the field of Ancient Greek and Byzantine metrics.
