Sen. Asst. Prof. Nikolay Genov, PhD

Nikolay Genchev Genov is a PhD in Literary Theory and a Senior Assistant Professor at the Institute for Literature at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. In 2017, he completed his Bachelor's degree in Bulgarian Philology at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", and in 2018, he earned a Master's degree in Literary Studies from the same university. He defended his doctoral thesis in the Faculty of Slavic Philology in 2022. His research interests are focused on science fiction, digital media, and video games. He is the author of the book "The Virtual Human: A Study on Phantomatics" (2022) and his texts have been published in various journals, collections, and academic platforms.
