Prof. Ivan Mladenov, D.Sc.

Ivan Mladenov is a Professor at the Institute of Literature at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. His main scientific interest is in the philosophy of Charles C. Peirce, whose theory he uses in his book Conceptualizing Metaphors. On Charles Peirce’s Marginalia, published by Routledge in 2006, republished in 2014. The book was translated into Japanese and printed by Keiso-shobo Ltd. in Tokyo in 2012, Mladenov taught in many European countries, as well as in the United States: Bloomington (USA), Salzburg (Austria), Helsinki (Finland), Bremen, Lüneburg, Darmstadt (Germany). Currently, Prof. Ivan Mladenov is a guest lecturer at Humboldt University in Berlin.
