The project aims at working with students with a main goal to develop their creative abilities, imagination and skills to create a texts (artistic and interpretive), to introduce them to literature as a diverse and intriguing territory in a fun way, but also provoking the acquisition of new knowledge.
The project presents Bulgarian literature not only in the matrix of the curriculum, but as a literary-historical plot, which intertwines the existential and creative destinies of Bulgarian classical writers and artists who have remained in the shadow of the canon, but have a fundamental place in the cultural life of the 20th century. The most important part of the project consisted of three creative workshops with the world-famous writer Georgi Gospodinov. In his lectures he acquainted the participants (over 150 students) with the classical, modern and postmodern creative approaches and analytically reconstructed the role of the Author in different cultural epochs. Authors from all over the country participated with over 200 works in a creative writing competition. After selecting works by genre and performing individual editorial work with the authors, the project team published the best works in the Small Student Anthology (Boyan Penev PC, Sofia, 2018, IBSN 978-619-7372-15-1 ). 31 poems were included in the book, which also includes short stories, essays, interpretations of philosophical, journalistic, and literary texts. The project gained wide public popularity and was considered an extremely successful form for discovering and encouraging the creative talent of Bulgarian students.
