The emblem of the reading woman - a woman who is educating herself, who currently changes - was the starting point in the reconstruction of the special position of the newspaper among the great number of female issues between the two wars, in the definition of its intentions to form a female public. The newspaper was analyzed as a factor in the preparation of public attitudes to accept the professional status of the writing woman. Image of fashion, it was also considered as an image of modernity and the spirit of the industrial age.
